1. Application stage
Submitting a request for admission is free of charge. No payment is collected at this stage. If we decline to invite you for an interview, no fee is owed.
2. Engagement letter & admission fee
If admitted, you will receive a written Engagement Letter setting out the scope of work and fees. The admission fee is payable in advance, in full, upon signing.
By signing the Engagement Letter, you confirm that you have read this Refund Policy and agree to its terms.
3. No refund after admission
Once admission is confirmed and the fee is paid, the fee is non-refundable in whole or in part. This applies regardless of:
- Whether or not introductions result in marriage
- The number of introductions ultimately curated
- Voluntary withdrawal at any point during the engagement
- Subjective dissatisfaction with curated profiles
This policy reflects the substantial preparatory work — verification, dossier creation, cohort design — undertaken at the outset of every engagement.
4. Limited exceptions
A pro-rata refund may be granted, at our sole discretion, only where:
- We terminate the engagement without cause within the first thirty (30) days of admission
- A duplicate or erroneous payment has been received in our account
- Statutory law requires refund (e.g., a court order)
No refund is owed where termination is for cause — including misrepresentation, breach of confidentiality, or conduct incompatible with the atelier.
5. Refund procedure
If a refund is approved:
- The amount is credited to the original payment method
- Processing typically takes 7–14 business days, depending on the bank
- Bank charges, foreign exchange differences, and gateway fees are deducted
6. Chargebacks
Initiating an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute will be treated as a material breach of these terms and may result in immediate termination, retention of fees, and recovery of legal costs.
7. Taxes
All fees are quoted exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes. Refunds, where granted, are net of taxes already remitted to the authorities.
